The History of Honey's

as written by granddaughter, Ariel

We have been open since July 2002. It all started when my Granddad wanted to begin a restaurant (a hot dog stand), but my Nana kept putting him off. Then she finally said okay. So we worked day and night for months. It all came together and it was done. We have had to build on three times because it was too small. Now we have it just like we like it. Honey's is a wonderful place to eat. There's great food and service. The prices are low. We sometimes have boiled peanuts and always homemade desserts. My Grandparents, James and Brenda are the owners. I started calling him "Honey" after I heard my Nana call him that. I was only about 18 months old. This is where the restaurant got its name. We call him "Honey" because he is so sweet.
